Girls board shorts offer up many benefits while at the beach or pool.  If you’re like me and really don’t like the open filling that standard swim suits provide, then girls board shorts will give you some added protection and comfort.

Above I mention protection, well that’s completely accurate.  Many of these girls swim shorts are made with UPF 50+ fabric that will give you some protection against those harmful UV rays.  The two main types of fabric seen on girls board shorts is polyester and micro suede. My preference is the suede as it’s very fast drying and feels really light in the water, but other girls I hang with say the polyester is just as comfortable.  In the end, finding a pair of women’s board shorts that still feel comfortable after a long day at the beach will be key.  Trust me once you find them, you will be glad you did.

This coin pocket is constructed from a mesh fabric so no need to worry about water building up they drain pretty easy. I find that the majority of my friends are all wearing Roxy girls board shorts, but then again I guess it’s all who you hang with that will influence your purchase.  All these girls board shorts manufactures are well respected in the swimwear community so the quality is top notch and a pair of these shorts can easily last a few seasons.

If you are price conscious and why wouldn’t you be in this economy. Price on girls board shorts will range from $20 – $150 dollars.  Yes, that’s right I have actually seen a pair of girls board shorts for that much…CRAZY, if ask me!  But, you can really find some good deals on girls board shorts if you take your time. There are numerous retail stores such as Rue21, PacSun, Forever21 and Wet Seal just to name a few that I like shopping at.  The key to finding deals is to shop for girls board shorts in the off season like winter.  I will typically purchase several over the winter due to the lack of demand.  But, online is probably my favorite place to shop as you have so many options when it comes to resources.  Many of the retailers mentioned above have online stores that you will find cheaper than at the actual store front. So, be diligent about your purchase and you will find a pair of girls board shorts that you will LOVE!
