It finally hit 100 degrees where I live…you know what the means! Yes, that’s right board short time! OK, if I sound a little over enthusiastic it’s because I am.

Not being able to get on here and give you my insight on what’s hot and what’s not is something I miss dearly. That being said, I will so some reviews on what I think might be this summers trends.

Just with like any other trend it’s always to buy when the trend is fading or should I say no longer in season. I’m a big proponent on saving money. I typically buy all my girls board shorts when the stores are trying to deplete their inventory. That however does not stop me from trying to see what line of girls board shorts are coming out. And what I think will look good at the beach. I have so many shorts it’s ridiculous! I love shopping and I love the beach, so that makes for one full dresser.

As mentioned above where I live it get’s pretty hot, but we also don’t have a lot to choose from so I venture on over to San Diego every now and then to check out recent styles. I plan on heading over there in a couple weeks and when I do…I will update the blog. I have hit the local hot-spots such as Zumiez and Pacsun and I tell you what. Either I’m getting just to old or the shorts that are coming out keep getting smaller and smaller. I’m sure it’s the latter. Seems to be that polka dotted girls board shorts are staging a come back as Zumiez was full of em.
